Integrated time management in CDE INFRASTRUCTURE monitors inspection deadlines and projected completion dates for the BAB A7 AD Hamburg-Nordwest – AD Bordesholm project.
Project
The project Availability model BAB A7 AD Hamburg-Nordwest – AD Bordesholm is one of the so-called availability models for the six-lane expansion of parts of the federal motorways. The A7 federal motorway will be widened in eight subsections over a length of approximately 65 km from the Hamburg-Nordwest junction to the Bordesholm junction and operated and maintained for a period of 30 years.
The Via Solutions Nord project company, consisting of HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions, DIF and KEMNA BAU, is designing, building, financing, operating and maintaining the A7 highway between the Hamburg-Northwest interchange and the Neumünster-North junction in Schleswig-Holstein.
Result
Like the successful PPP projects A5 Malsch – Offenburg and A6 Wiesloch – Weinsberg, Thinkproject Document & Communication Management with the CDE INFRASTRUCTURE solution was chosen as the common project management system. Via several, project-specific workflows, all participants work in a structured manner on the checking of drawings and documents. With the parallel checking of drawings and the very high flexibility of the workflows, the drawing management was optimised.
Each of the parties involved, from the client (DEGES on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany) to the contractors Via Solutions Nord and the construction consortium, receives their checking tasks fully automated via the CDE INFRASTRUCTURE workflows. In addition, CDE INFRASTRUCTURE’s integrated time management monitors the checking deadlines and the due completion dates.
