Without digitalisation, Stadtwerke Gemünden were experiencing common challenges that face public infrastructure teams. When it comes to water management, compliance is hugely important and there are many regulations and standards that must be adhered to. The administration that comes with the management of the facilities is vast, and the team were weighed down with manual processes that took focus away from the most important aspect: ensuring clean, safe water.

Furthermore, they realised that turnover within the team meant valuable knowledge and experience was getting lost. The best practices and lessons learned were not being documented, meaning every new team member needed to be trained from scratch, which can be an expensive and time-consuming process.
