Supporting S-LINK project in Salzburg

Thinkproject is supporting the Salzburg Regional Stadt Bahn, an ambitious project that will connect the city of Salzburg with the surrounding area in the north and south to Hallein. The construction of the north-south rapid transit connection is the largest local transport project to date in the central area of Salzburg.

Work has begun on the important key project S-LINK. The S-LINK is planned and implemented in four stages, the first stage of which is the extension of the local railway from Salzburg Central Station to Mirabell Palace.

The commissioning of this station is planned for 2025/2026. An expansion of the route to Hallein is planned in further construction phases.

After a detailed evaluation, Thinkproject is proud to have been awarded the contract for this project to set up the collaboration platform including BIM requirements and to digitise processes related to the construction of this major infrastructure project.
