French collaboration solution launch

Private-Equity-backed Thinkproject, the leading Common Data Environment (CDE) provider for construction and engineering projects, announced it is strengthening its team in France to accelerate growth in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market.

The Paris Vélizy-based Thinkproject entity (Thinkproject France) already offers a leading Project Lifecycle Management (tpPLM) solution serving clients such as Alstom, Grand Paris, Vinci, etc. The strategy is to add to the portfolio a SaaS cross-enterprise collaboration solution already highly successful in several markets across Europe and beyond: Thinkproject serves an impressive roster of customers, with more than 150,000 users in 50 countries, including references such as Alstom, Audi, Bayer, BMW, Bouygues, Eiffage, Heathrow Airport, Ikea, Lufthansa, Samsung, Société Générale, Technip FMC or Vinci Construction.

Thinkproject is offering a hybrid strategy to drive portfolio convergence by progressively adding legacy Product & Project Lifecycle Management capabilities to its modern cross-enterprise collaboration and information management solution, known as CDE. To this end, thinkproject is creating new jobs in France. Talent acquisition is starting immediately in multiple disciplines including Sales & Marketing, and Consulting & Technical roles for Customer Success.

Thomas Bachmaier, Thinkproject founder, says: “Further investing in the French-speaking markets is a major cornerstone in our international growth strategy. This move provides Thinkproject with the opportunity to acquire new French and international customers, while adding a leading collaboration solution to the local product portfolio.”
