Thinkproject and IB&T Software GmbH, developer of the CAD software card_1, have announced that their previous relationship will be further developed into a reseller partnership. IB&T is now reseller of Thinkproject’s DESITE BIM.
DESITE BIM was added to Thinkproject’s product portfolio with the company’s acquisition of former ceapoint aec technologies GmbH in 2019. The six product variations of DESITE BIM offer varying levels of BIM proficiency and seamless collaboration and information exchange throughout construction projects thanks to its open and neutral support of a variety of data formats. This tool has the capability of integrating different types of information into building information models, conducting model and clash detection checks, and running 4D simulations, in addition to creating schedules, information take-off, and quantity take-off.
Thinkproject has been working successfully with IB&T, the expert for traffic routes and infrastructure, for two years. The partnership is intended to further strengthen competence in this market segment
Uwe Hüttner, IB&T Managing Director says “our customers, such as engineering companies, administrations and construction companies, who use our own BIM solution card_1 for road planning or rail routing, are already enthusiastic about DESITE BIM. You have already had very good experiences with the product. In addition, DESITE BIM can be easily linked to many other systems.”
To which Anton Hofmeier, Thinkproject Chief Sales Officer adds “The contract with IB&T is the second reseller partnership we are entering into this year. We are very excited about this next step in working with IB&T. We will continue to expand Thinkproject’s leading position in Europe as we can make our products available to an even wider audience. We will continue to focus on product partnerships in future and thus continue the Thinkproject expansion course.”
